We’re looking for 12 students from a diverse group of VMHS organizations to represent our campus and ride or walk with this year’s Fiesta parade float during the Battle of the Flowers parade!
Our float's theme is “From Pages to Possibilities” — brought to life with a fun sci‑fi twist. 🚀📚✨
If you’d like to be part of the float crew, the application Google Form is available in Canvas via the Announcements section (you can see it on your dashboard too).
This is a great chance to show your school pride, represent your organization, and help bring our float to life for Fiesta 2026! 🌟

Congratulations to our VMHS JROTC Marksmanship team — Isabel Sencion, John McCasland, Sydney Merrick, and Janessa Marquez — for an outstanding performance at the Civilian Marksmanship Program State Match! 🏅🎯
The team earned an impressive 1898/2400 with 27 bullseyes, showcasing focus, discipline, and skill across all three positions: kneeling, standing, and prone.
A special shout‑out to Isabel Sencion, who qualified for the National Competition in Camp Perry, Ohio after scoring 530/600 with 15 bullseyes — the first VMHS student to ever qualify at this level! 🎉
Nationals take place June 18–20, and we are so proud of this historic achievement. Way to represent, Patriots!
