National Suicide Prevention Week is September 7-13, 2025. This annual event aims to educate and inform the public about suicidal feelings and actions, and how to recognize someone in danger. When someone feels suicidal or knows someone who is at risk, they need to know they’re not alone. This week, VMHS will share resources to help students, parents, and the community.

The Texas Education Agency is pleased to announce that Veterans Memorial High School has
fulfilled the criteria for earning the Purple Star Campus Designation for their support of military connected students. The designation is effective for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 shool years. Congratulations Patriot Nation!!!

The Judson ISD Superintendent Student Advisory Council (SSAC) applications are now open! 📲

Dr. Fields believes engaging and collaborating with students is essential to creating a thriving educational environment and learning experience. He wants to create a space where students can use their voices, share ideas, and advise on important issues to Judson ISD students.

SSAC members from each high school are selected annually through an application process. Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to apply. Applications for SSAC are open through Friday, September 22nd.
